Guwahati: At least six school girls were severely injured in a road collision at Dhubri district of Assam on Saturday morning.
The incident took place at Tamarhat of the district.
The students were reportedly travelling toward their school in an e-rickshaw when a speeding bike struck them head-on.
The schoolgirls suffered severe injuries as their e-rickshaw turned onto the road, while the rider was unscathed.
All those injured were sent immediately to a nearly hospital for better treatment after the incident.
