Six SFS Students Shine in JEE Advanced 2025, Earning National Recognition

Guwahati: Six students from St. Francis De Sales School (SFS), Satgaon, Narengi, have made their school and city proud by qualifying for JEE Advanced 2025, one of India’s most competitive engineering entrance examinations.
Their achievement highlights not only their academic brilliance but also their determination and discipline in the face of a challenging national-level test.

The successful candidates – Prabal Das, Rhythm Dutta, Chinmoy Kalita, Gaurav Basumatary, Pehiareubabe Ndang, and Astha Ingti – are all part of the school’s Desalite Integrated Entrance Preparation (DIEP) program. Their performances have set benchmarks in their respective subjects, with individual percentiles as follows:
• Mathematics: 99.29
• Chemistry: 96.19
• Physics: 94.84

These results speak volumes about the students’ hard work, clarity of concept, and focused preparation. Their success places them among the top aspiring engineers in the country and opens up opportunities to secure seats in India’s premier institutions, including the IITs.

While the spotlight rightfully belongs to the achievers, credit is also due to the DIEP initiative at SFS. Designed to integrate entrance exam coaching with the regular school curriculum, the program provides students with the right mentorship, tools, and resources from an early stage.

School principal Rev. Fr. George Thomas MSFS expressed his pride and joy, congratulating the students and their families for this landmark achievement. He remarked that their success is a beacon of inspiration for fellow Desalites, reaffirming the school’s vision to nurture talent and academic excellence.

As these six students take their next step toward a future in science and technology, their journey stands as a testament to what focused effort and the right guidance can achieve.
