Guwahati: In a bizarrely unfortunate accident, a young man was bitten by a snake inside the airport.
The incident was reported at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport of Guwahati.
The man has been identified as Montu Vaishya.
According to reports, Vaishya is an employee at the airport and was bitten by the snake near the arrival luggage counter.
The young man was immediately rushed to the Azara Hospital for better treatment.
Later, the snake was captured with the assistance of snake catchers within the airport.
