Guwahati: In yet another sensational case, a son allegedly killed his father over a quarrel in Kokrajhar district of Assam on Saturday evening.
The incident took place at around 6.30 pm in Salakati.
According to reports, the accused son identified as Sahinur Ali stabbed his father, identified as Bahar Ali, with a dagger.
Bahar and his wife, identified as Anuara Begum, have four sons and three daughters.
Sahinur was enraged and attacked his father during a father-son argument, which led to the gruesome murder.
His father was immediately rushed to Rupnath Brahma Civil Hospital after the incident, where doctors there pronounced him dead.
Maenwhile, Anuara demanded that her son be arrested right away and subjected to severe punishment.
A search operation for the accused has been launched by the police.
