Guwahati: The Ideal Farmer Awardee Soneswar Konwar passed away on Wednesday night in Khetri, Assam.
Konwar passed away due to old age ailments.
As per reports, Konwar died at his residence in Malaybari.
Soneswar Konwar received the Ideal Farmer award for his contributions in farming.
He participated in a number of initiatives and his death has left a shadow of mourning in the area.
