Sporting Legends and Political Leaders Unite for Constitutional Celebration

Assam: A unique blend of sportsmanship and patriotism was on display as prominent leaders and renowned athletes joined hands for the ‘Hamara Samvidhan, Hamara Samman’ padyatra.

The event, held to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Indian Constitution, saw the participation of several dignitaries, including Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Olympic medalist Mirabai Chanu, and renowned wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt.

Addressing the gathering, Minister Kiren Rijiju underscored the importance of the Constitution in shaping the nation’s destiny. “As we mark 75 years of our Constitution, we are organizing this Samvidhan Yatra to honor its legacy,” he said. The minister’s remarks highlighted the significance of the occasion and the collective effort to uphold constitutional values.

Joining the celebrations, Olympic medalist Mirabai Chanu expressed her pride and enthusiasm for the initiative. “I am delighted to be a part of this event,” she said, encouraging the youth to strive for excellence.
