Sports Ministry gives approval for IPL 2020 in UAE

The Sports Ministry of India have given green signal to the Board of Control for Cricket of India (BCCI) who is set to host the IPL 2020 in UAE due to the ongoing COVID pandemic. As per media report the Sports Ministry sent the mandatory clearance to BCCI on Monday.

Now the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and Union Home Ministry (MHA) need to give clearances for the 13th Edition of IPL which is set to held in the desert country United Arab Emirates (UAE).  Meanwhile, IPL’s Governing Council Chairman Brijesh Patel had already confirmed that BCCI has sent the acceptance letter to the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB).
