National Desk, 12th November: A devastating fire on Dal Lake in Srinagar took a tragic toll as three tourists from Bangladesh lost their lives on Saturday. The victims, staying at the Safeena houseboat, fell victim to the massive fire that engulfed several houseboats earlier in the day.
Authorities discovered their bodies hours after the incident. The blaze originated at a houseboat near Ghat number 9, swiftly spreading to adjacent houseboats, resulting in the destruction of at least five and causing damage to others.
While the cause of the fire remains undetermined, the police have committed to conducting a thorough investigation into the tragic incident.
