25 years ago when Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge hit the theatres, nobody had imagined the immense success the film will prove to be. The film which released over two decades ago continues to enthral movie fanatics even today. DDLJ, which has achieved several milestones in the past, is set to create history yet again. A bronze statue of SRK and Kajol will be unveiled at Leicester Square, London to mark the 25th anniversary of the film. The statue will be unveiled in spring 2021.
The movie has been extensively shot in India, London, and Switzerland. A scene from the film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge was also shot in Leicester Square where Shah Rukh and Kajol’s characters first cross paths as strangers.
