Sudeva Delhi FC Trials Draw Massive Response in Mizoram and Assam

Sports: Sudeva Delhi FC conducted football trials in Mizoram and Assam this month, drawing over 1,800 aspiring players eager to make their mark.

The trials, held on January 17 in Aizawl, Mizoram, and January 19 in Kokrajhar, Assam, marked the club’s latest initiative to identify grassroots talent and offer them a pathway to professional football.

Anuj Gupta, President of Sudeva Delhi FC, attended the trials, underscoring the club’s commitment to nurturing young players. Reflecting on the experience, Gupta remarked, “The talent and passion displayed at these trials were extraordinary.” The trials offered participants a chance to join the club’s prestigious residential football academy in Delhi, known for its elite coaching and world-class facilities.

The academy has a proven track record of success, with several alumni advancing to play in the Indian Super League (ISL), I-League, and representing the national team. This year’s trials highlighted the Northeast’s growing reputation as a football powerhouse, thanks to its rich talent pool and deeply ingrained football culture.

Adding to the excitement is Sudeva’s recent partnership with Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart, signed in November at Stuttgart’s MHP Arena. The collaboration aims to bridge Indian and German football through exchange programs and advanced training opportunities, opening international doors for budding Indian players.

These trials and partnerships reaffirm Sudeva Delhi FC’s vision of fostering the next generation of football stars, ensuring young talents from regions like the Northeast can shine on both national and global stages.
