Justice Singh shared that the delegation, led by Justice B R Gavai, observed a palpable sense of optimism during their visits to the districts of Churachandpur and Bishnupur on the preceding Saturday.
Highlighting the spirit he encountered, Justice Singh stated, “There is so much optimism in Churachandpur and Bishnupur. There are challenges, which we can overcome if we abide by constitutional values.” He further elaborated on Churachandpur’s historical significance, noting its rich traditions and vibrant community, and its contribution to the state’s judiciary, having produced two distinguished judges of the Manipur High Court. He urged the people of Manipur to actively contribute to the nation’s strength and refrain from actions that might weaken it.
Addressing the legal fraternity, Justice Singh reassured lawyers that their dedication and hard work would not go unnoticed, regardless of their location.
