National Desk, 6th November: The Supreme Court, in a ruling on Novembert6, dismissed a plea brought by the Popular Front of India (PFI) challenging the ban imposed on the organization by the Union government.
Additionally, the Supreme Court directed the PFI to pursue its appeal against a tribunal’s judgment, which affirmed the government’s decision to ban the PFI and eight other organizations under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), by approaching the high court.
