Guwahati: Two fake tantriks conned a helpless woman in Digboi of Assam on Thursday.
According to reports, the tantriks went to the woman’s home after her daily-wage worker husband left for work.
They made wear a ring following which she lost consciousness. As a result, she complies with all requests made by the tantriks to bring something outside the home and give it to them.
The tantriks removed gold jewellery, a sum of Rs. 50,000, and many other many other valuable items.
