Guwahati: In a freak accident, a tea worker was severely injured in Tinsukia district of Assam on Tuesday.
The incident took place at Samdang tea estate in Doom Dooma.
As per reports, the labourer was injured when he accidently got stuck in the CTC machine at the factory while he was working on it.
The worker has been identified Shambhu Toti.
Following the incident, he was admitted to a hospital in Dibrugarh in critical condition.
