Teachers shot dead in Jammu and Kashmir

Guwahati:  At least two teachers were killed in a terrorist attack in the Srinagar district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.

The incident took place around 11:15 am at a government school in the Iddgah Sangam area of Srinagar.

Both the teachers were identified as Satinder Kaur, the principal of the school, and Deepak Chanda, Kashmiri Pandit teacher. Both of the teachers were residents of Allochi Bagh, Srinagar.

It may be mentioned that the affected area was cordoned off and further investigation into the matter is carried on by the police officials of the state.
