There should be no restrictions on inter- State and intra – State movement of persons and goods from 1st October 2020.
The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has reiterated to States that there should be no restrictions on inter- State and intra – State movement of persons and goods during the ongoing unlocking process. In pursuance of the above directives and to ensure the free movement of travelers along the inter-State and intra-State. The State Task Force in a meeting held on 30 September 2020. The following advisories are issued for compliance:-
- Whoever wants to exit from the State of Sikkim, there shall be no restriction.
- Returnees irrespective of any categories and tourist shall not be quarantined. However they should visit the nearest Health facility if they have any flu like symptoms.
- It is imperative to mention here that, mandatory use of mask, social distancing in the vehicle they are travelling as per the guidelines previously issued, no spitting in the public places etc. has to be followed strictly.
It is also pertinent to mention that more focus will be given to symptomatic patterns of COVID-19 for testing.
