Thousands of Aadhar Cards Recovered from River in Assam’s Doboka

Guwahati: In an unfortunate discovery, thousands of aadhar cards were found in a river in the early hours of Tuesday in the Hojai district of Assam.

The incident was reported from Jamuna river near Doboka town.

According to reports, locals spotted the aadhar cards that were concealed in a sack and promptly alerted authorities.

It is suspected that the sack was dumped by officials of the Department of Post, locals alleged.

Later, local police arrived on the spot and recovered the sack of aadhar card.

Further investigation is on.
