Three Dead in Tragic Truck Accident in Arunachal Pradesh

Northeast Desk, 11th September: A devastating road accident occurred on Manmau Road in Changlang district, Arunachal Pradesh, resulting in the deaths of three individuals, including a truck driver.

Local sources reported that a brick transport truck with registration number 04 D 4827 lost control and veered off the road, plunging into a deep canal. The collision was severe, and the truck was extensively damaged by the time it came to a stop in the water. Emergency services arrived promptly, but despite their efforts, the victims could not be rescued.

The deceased include the truck driver and two other workers who were traveling in the vehicle. Their identities are being withheld pending notification of their families. The cause of the accident is under investigation, with preliminary reports indicating potential issues related to vehicle control or road conditions.

Local authorities, including police and district administration officials, have initiated an inquiry into the accident. They are also providing support to the victims’ families and working on measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
