The Chuwraibari W.P. staff under Bazaricherra Police Station was conducting checking at Churaibari Check point on N.H 8 when one Guwahati bound Maruti van bearing Reg. No TR-01H -0206 was stopped for checking and during checking three foreigners suspected to be Nigerian Nationals were detained.
During the interrogation the three foreigners stated that they entered into India through Bangladesh via Tripura. On asking they couldn’t able to produce any valid passports/ documents for their entry into India. A case has been registered against them vide Bazaricherra P S Case No. 116/2020 U/S 14 of the Foreigners Act, 1946 r/w Section 6 of the Passport ( Entry in to India) Rules, 1950. The Police has also named the three Nigeran, Nnamdi Bernard Nwali, Prince Paul and Eze Collins.
