In the assembly, it was decided that a committee of ten members will be formed to review all the details of the matter and the committee will be led by Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rioto. A report will also be prepared by the committee and it will be submitted to the House within a period of three months.
The members of the committee also took the decision to plead Union Home Minister Amit Shah for the maintenance of the status quo in the affected areas till the matter gets settled.
In the resolution, it was also included that the border issue with Assam should be resolved peacefully without dragging it to court.
