Guwahati, 14th August: A heart-wrenching incident unfolded in Kaliabor, Nagaon district, as a 10-year-old boy, Sudarshan Bhuyan, lost his life in a tragic electrocution accident. The young boy’s life was cut short when he accidentally came in contact with a high-voltage wire that was dangerously exposed on the ground near his residence.
The unfortunate incident occurred while Sudarshan was playing with his friends in the vicinity of his home. In a cruel twist of fate, he inadvertently touched the live wire, resulting in a fatal electrocution. His friends immediately alerted the adults present, who rushed to the scene to find the young boy in distress.
Sudarshan was swiftly transported to a hospital in a bid to save his life. However, despite the efforts of the medical personnel, he was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
The tragedy has cast a pall of grief over the community, as the news of the young boy’s untimely demise spreads. The incident serves as a grim reminder of the importance of ensuring the safety of high-voltage electrical installations and the need for vigilance, especially in residential areas.
