Tragedy Strikes Odisha TMT Rods Manufacturer: Two Labourers from Assam Lose Lives in Cylinder Blast
Guwahati, 5th May: A devastating incident shook a prominent TMT rods and bars manufacturer in Odisha as a cylinder blast claimed the lives of two labourers from Assam on May 5.
The explosion, which occurred at the terminal where rods were undergoing the melting process, reverberated through the premises, sending shockwaves through the local community.
The victims, identified as Deben Baglary from Kathiatali in Nagaon and Babul Das from Naipam in Nagaon, both hailing from Assam, succumbed to their injuries in the tragic incident.
Their untimely demise has plunged their families and loved ones into mourning, amplifying the gravity of the tragedy.
Initial reports indicate that the blast also inflicted injuries on ten others, with four individuals currently in critical condition, fighting for their lives.
