National Desk, 21st April: A devastating car crash in Rajasthan’s Jhalawar district resulted in the loss of at least 9 lives on Sunday morning, April 21.
The victims, who were returning from a wedding ceremony, met with tragedy when their vehicle collided head-on with a truck near Eklera village. According to Jhalawar superintendent of police, Richa Tomer, the accident occurred at 2:45 am.
Tragically, two individuals lost their lives at the scene of the accident, while the remaining seven victims were rushed to a nearby hospital. Despite efforts to save them, they succumbed to their injuries. The victims, all young adults, were aged between 18 and 30 years old.
