Tripura: 72nd NEC Plenary Session Underway in Guwahati, Amit Shah Emphasizes Regional Development
Agartala: The 72nd Plenary Session of the North Eastern Council (NEC) commenced today at Pragna Bhavan in Guwahati, chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
This two-day gathering brings together key stakeholders, including Governors, Chief Ministers, and senior officials from the Northeastern states, to discuss and prioritize the region’s development agenda.
Union Minister for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) Jyotiraditya Scindia and Union MoS Dr Sukanta Majumder are also in attendance.
Minister Shah is scheduled to participate in four events today, including the plenary session, the North East Banker Conclave, and the 12th Meeting of the North Eastern Space Application Centre. On December 22nd, the Union Home Minister will visit Amabassa Sub-division in Dhalai District, where he will engage with Internally Displaced Bru People.
