Tripura: AK Mishra hold talks with Tipra Motha over constitutional rights of tribals

Northeast Desk, 28th November: In a significant development, discussions between Tipra Motha and A.K. Mishra, retired IPS and Adviser (Northeast) of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) begins on Tuesday morning at AD Nagar Police Line.

The meeting kicked off at around 9:30 AM in the presence of Former Chairman of Tipra Motha, Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma, Leader of the Opposition Animesh Debbarma, and other indigenous leaders MLA Brishaketu Debbarma, former minister Mevar Kumar Jamatia were also present.

A.K. Mishra, who arrived in Agartala on Monday afternoon, was warmly received by Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma, the former chairman of Tipra Motha and a royal figure in the state.

This engagement signifies a crucial step in the ongoing dialogue between stakeholders, showcasing the commitment to constructive discussions and the resolution of pertinent issues.
