Tripura: Animesh Debbarma and Brishaketu Debbarma sworn in as State Cabinet Ministers

Northeast Desk, 7th March: Tripura Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu administered the oath of office to Animesh Debbarma, the newly appointed minister who previously served as the Leader of Opposition. Debbarma contested the 2023 Assembly Election under the Tipra Motha banner.

Brishaketu Debbarma, formerly an IPFT MLA during the initial BJP government in Tripura, also took the oath as a Cabinet Minister. Representing the Simna Assembly Constituency in Tripura’s West district, he transitioned from IPFT to Tipra Motha, securing his position as an MLA.

The ceremony, attended by Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, Royal Scion and founder of Tipra Motha Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma, Chief Secretary JK Sinha, DGP Amitabh Ranjan, and other dignitaries, marked the formal inclusion of the newly appointed ministers into the state’s leadership.
