Tripura Assembly Elections: BJP leads in 34 seats, TIPRA Motha, CPI(M) in close pursuit
Guwahati: The counting of votes for Tripura’s 60 assembly districts started on March 2. According to the most recent results, the BJP is now leading with 34 seats, followed by TIPRA Motha with 12 seats and the Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI(M)] with 11.
According to the most recent reports, Brishaketu Debbarma has won from the Simna constituency, which is a huge success for TIPRA Motha.
However, the Tripura Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma was defeated by Subodh Deb Barma in the Charilam constituency by 800 votes, according to the website of the Election Commission of India.
On the other hand, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha won the 8 Town Bordowali Assembly district. One of the important constituencies out of Tripura’s 60 assembly districts is Town Bordowali.
