Tripura Assembly Polls: Amit Shah to Flag Off ‘Jan Viswas Yatra’ Today
Guwahati: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will launch the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) “Jan Viswas Yatra” in Tripura on Thursday in anticipation of the upcoming Assembly Election in the state.
Shah will flag off ‘Jan Viswas Yatra’ from Dhamanagar in North Tripura district and Sabroom in South Tripura district today.
The Tripura BJP will launch its “Jan Viswas Yatra” campaign in an effort to broaden the party’s base of support in the state.
Eight days and 60 state constituencies will be covered by the yatra. The primary objective of the Yatra is to highlight the advancements the BJP government has made since 2018.
The national president of the BJP JP Nadda will be present on the concluding day of the yatra on January 12 and will address the masses.
Tripura will have elections for its legislature in 2023.
