Tripura BJP Candidates to File Nomination Papers for Lok Sabha Seats

Northeast Desk, 26t March: The Tripura BJP candidates for Lok Sabha seats, including former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb and Kriti Singh Debbarma, are scheduled to file their nominations on March 27 and 28. This decision follows an extensive meeting between BJP leaders, Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura (IPFT), and Tipra Motha leaders held at Sonar Tari Hotel in Agartala.

During the closed-door meeting, which lasted around two hours, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, along with other prominent leaders, discussed strategies for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. BJP State President Rajib Bhattacharya highlighted the importance of coordination among BJP, IPFT, and Tipra Motha leaders to ensure success in the elections.

Rajib Bhattacharya emphasized the significance of grassroots-level planning and coordination to strengthen Prime Minister Modi’s position. He announced that nomination papers for the West Tripura Parliamentary seat would be submitted on March 27, followed by a rally in front of Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhawan at Agartala. Similarly, nominations for the East seat will be filed on March 28 at Ambassa in Dhalai District. Bhattacharya expressed confidence in the leadership and collective efforts of all leaders, MLAs, and MDCs to secure victory in both Lok Sabha seats.
