Tripura BJP to Announce Mandal Presidents Tomorrow
Agartala: The Tripura BJP is set to unveil the names of its Mandal Presidents across the state by tomorrow, according to party sources.
The state, divided into 60 Mandals corresponding to its Assembly constituencies, has been undergoing a leadership revamp at the grassroots level, with recent changes made to booth presidents.
The final list of Mandal Presidents has been shaped following a series of high-level meetings involving prominent leaders, including Chief Minister Manik Saha, BJP MP Biplab Kumar Deb, state BJP president Rajib Bhattacharya, and other senior officials. The consultations extended to the party’s central leadership, which has given its approval to the proposed names.
The announcement, initially scheduled for today, was delayed due to logistical reasons. A senior BJP leader confirmed the development, stating, “All names have been finalised, and the central leadership has agreed. The declaration will most likely take place by tomorrow.”
The announcement marks a significant step in the BJP’s efforts to strengthen its organizational framework ahead of upcoming political challenges in the state.
