Tripura: BJP Unveils 73-Member State Executive Committee in Preparations for Upcoming Lok Sabha Elections

Northeast Desk, 3rd February: Months ahead of the anticipated Lok Sabha elections, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Tripura made a strategic move by unveiling its 73-member state executive committee.

The committee comprises key figures from the party’s senior leadership in the state, with notable names such as Chief Minister Manik Saha, Rajya Sabha MP Bilab Kumar Deb, Union MoS for Social Empowerment and Social Justice Pratima Bhoumik, and former Deputy CM Jishnu Dev Varma. This formidable lineup was officially announced on Thursday night.

In addition to the core members, there are 14 invitee members who contribute to the comprehensive nature of the committee. Earlier, on December 30, the party disclosed the names of 18 office-bearers for the state unit.

With a keen focus on the upcoming elections, the state BJP has taken proactive measures to reconstitute the committees of office-bearers across all its frontal organizations, including Mohila Morcha and Yuva Morcha. As political strategies unfold, Tripura’s political landscape is gearing up for the impending electoral challenges.
