Tripura: BSF Seizes 4000 Yaba Tablets Worth Rs 40 Lakh Along Indo-Bangladesh Border

Agartala: The Border Security Force (BSF) in Tripura has successfully seized 4000 Yaba tablets, valued at Rs 40 lakh, during a smuggling operation along the Indo-Bangladesh border on November 9.

Acting on specific intelligence, the BSF troops intercepted the illicit drugs, foiling the smuggling attempt.

This operation underscores the BSF’s continuous efforts to secure the region and curb illegal activities along the international border.

In earlier operations this week, the BSF thwarted cross-border smuggling activities, rescuing 12 cattle and seizing a range of contraband items, including 7.5 kg of Ganja, 750 kg of sugar, and 46 bottles of phensedyl, among others, with a total value of Rs 46.09 lakh.
