Tripura Chief Minister Leads by Example, Casts Vote for Development and Unity
Northeast Desk, 19th April: Today, the democratic spirit reverberated through Tripura as Chief Minister Manik Saha exercised his fundamental right to vote at a polling booth located in Maharani Tulsibati Balika Vidyalaya in Agartala. CM Saha’s active participation in the electoral process not only underscored his commitment to democratic values but also served as a catalyst for citizen engagement in shaping the state’s future.
Dressed in traditional attire, CM Saha arrived early at the polling booth, accompanied by supporters and well-wishers, setting a positive tone for the day’s proceedings. After casting his vote at Maharani Tulibati Higher Secondary School, Dr. Saha expressed satisfaction, emphasizing the significance of voting with development in mind.
Urging voters to consider which party would prioritize development, peace, and unity, CM Saha emphasized the importance of supporting candidates committed to the betterment of society.
Addressing allegations from the opposition, the Chief Minister reassured voters, stating, “I haven’t observed any irregularities. All polling agents were present inside the polling stations.” He expressed confidence in the Election Commission of India’s ability to address any issues that may arise, emphasizing the government’s commitment to ensuring peaceful elections.
The polling process in Maharani Tulsibati Balika Vidyalaya and other polling stations across Agartala proceeded smoothly, reflecting the state’s dedication to fostering a transparent, inclusive, and democratic electoral process.
