Tripura Chief Minister Praises PM Modi’s Commitment to Good Governance on ‘Good Governance Day’

Northeast Desk, 25th December: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dedication to ensuring the reach of essential schemes to every citizen on December 25, marking ‘Good Governance Day.’ The day coincides with the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Saha emphasized PM Modi’s mantra of schemes reaching the last person, terming it a manifestation of good governance. He highlighted the significance of celebrating the birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee as ‘Good Governance Day.’

Established in 2014, Good Governance Day commemorates Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birthday and that of the late Madan Mohan Malviya, both recipients of the Bharat Ratna. The day signifies the nation’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and effective administration. The tradition expanded in 2021 with the introduction of Good Governance Week, observed for seven days from December 20 to 26. This year marks the third edition of the significant week.
