Tripura CM Alleges CPI(M) Planned Violence, Burying Alive of BJP Leaders
Northeast Desk, 13th December: In a startling claim, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha accused the CPI(M) of plotting violence, asserting that the party had dug graves to bury BJP leaders alive before the February 2023 Assembly elections.
Speaking at an event in Khowai district, Saha stated that the BJP’s victory thwarted the alleged plans of the CPI (M).
The CPI (M) dismissed the accusations, attributing the BJP’s win to the division of votes among non-BJP parties.
Saha condemned the CPI (M) for “abetting terror tactics” and expressed pity for the Congress for aligning with the Left party in the elections. In response, the CPI(M) emphasized its commitment to non-violence and labeled the allegations as baseless.
