Tripura CM Asserts BJP’s Victory Prospects in Lok Sabha Elections

Northeast Desk, 17th March: Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha, addressing the Janajati Karyakarta Sammelan at Agartala Town Hall, expressed confidence in the BJP’s increasing popularity and assured the respect and development of the Janajati people by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He emphasized that both BJP candidates are poised to secure a massive landslide victory in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Dr. Saha conveyed his optimism while observing the enthusiastic turnout of Janajati brothers and sisters, affirming his belief in the BJP’s triumph in both seats. Former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb and Maharani Kriti Singh Debbarma are contesting from the West and East constituencies, respectively, further bolstering Dr. Saha’s conviction in the BJP’s electoral success.

Highlighting PM Modi’s commitment to northeast development, Dr. Saha stressed its pivotal role in India’s progress and Tripura’s prosperity. He reiterated the government’s concerted efforts towards overall development, emphasizing the rejection of divisive vote bank politics that marginalized the Janajati community for years.

In a nod to honoring local leaders, Dr. Saha cited initiatives such as renaming the airport after Late Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Debbarma and proposing changes to the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council. He contrasted this approach with the divisive tactics of previous administrations, affirming the BJP’s dedication to tribal development and unity.

Concluding his address, Dr. Saha underscored the party’s commitment to inclusive growth, highlighting its proactive measures to empower and uplift the Janajati community.
