Tripura CM Calls on Corporators to Enhance Public Awareness of Government Schemes
Northeast Desk, 6th December: Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha has urged the Corporators of Agartala Municipal Corporation to spearhead awareness campaigns about both Central and State-sponsored initiatives for the public’s benefit.
Dr. Saha emphasized the surge of enthusiasm among Tripura’s populace following the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra by the Government of India and Proti Ghore Sushasan 2.0. These campaigns align with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of extending the advantages of various schemes to the grassroots.
Highlighting the Central Government’s commitment to reaching people across all strata, Dr. Saha stated, “The Prime Minister is dedicated to delivering developmental schemes to every individual. Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and Proti Ghore Sushasan 2.0 aim to ensure accessibility to people-centric projects for everyone, especially the most underprivileged.”
Dr. Saha underlined the government’s efforts to encompass 100% of people-centric projects at both Central and State levels. “PM Modi prioritizes extending flagship schemes to all sections of society, and our state government aligns with this vision. Initiatives are underway to provide opportunities for those yet to benefit from various central projects,” he added.
To amplify awareness, campaign vans will traverse rural areas, Village Committees, Nagar Panchayats, and AMC areas, elucidating the benefits of schemes like Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Jal Jeevan Mission, Skill India, Make in India, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, and Digital India. Dr. Saha urged corporators to proactively inform the public and facilitate these projects effectively.
