Agartala (Tripura): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, chaired a pre-budget session meeting with state cabinet ministers and MLAs from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Indigenous Peoples Front of Tripura (IPFT).
Chief Minster sharing this on Twitter wrote, “Chaired a pre-budget session meeting with the ministers and BJP-IPFT MLAs today. Had a detailed deliberation on House’s strategy for the upcoming budget session.”
The Tripura Assembly will begin its five-day budget session on Thursday.
On the first day of the Session, Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Verma, who also holds the Finance Portfolio, will propose the Budget for the fiscal year 2022-23.
It may be mentioned that This will be the BJP-IPFT government’s final budget before the State’s Assembly elections early next year, in which all 60 members of the Legislative Assembly will be elected.
