Tripura CM Confident of BJP’s Victory in Panchayat Elections
Northeast Desk, 18th July: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha expressed confidence that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates would win all seats in the upcoming Panchayat elections, attributing the expected success to the people’s trust in the party.
CM Saha led two nomination filing rallies for BJP candidates in Agartala, West District, and Udaipur, Gomati District. He participated in a rally for the West Tripura Zila Parishad candidates in Agartala, followed by a puja at Tripurasundari Temple before leading a nomination filing rally in Udaipur.
Accompanied by other leaders, CM Saha joined a large procession organized in support of the candidates after the puja. He noted the significant public turnout and support at both events.
“Today is the last day to submit nomination papers. BJP nominees are filing their nomination papers today to contest in the Gram Panchayat, Panchayat Samitis, and Zilla Parishad elections across the state. I was present at the submission of nomination papers of party candidates in Agartala and in Udaipur. A large number of people gathered in support of our candidates. Our leaders, ministers, legislators, and officials participated in Udaipur. We have the blessings of the people, and with these blessings, we will win the election,” he said.
