Tripura CM inaugurates 40-feet idol of Goddess Saraswati on the eve of Basant Panchami
Northeast Desk, 14th February: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha inaugurated festivities by addressing a gathering at Ward No. 40 of Agartala Municipal Corporation, Agartala, under his Assembly Constituency on February 13, coinciding with the installation of a 40-feet idol of Goddess Saraswati.
In Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj, devotees congregated at Sangam on Wednesday morning to celebrate Basant Panchami, marking the fourth bathing festival of the ongoing ‘Magh Mela,’ where numerous devotees partook in a sacred dip.
Meanwhile, in Mumbai, the Bengali community is gearing up with fervor to commemorate the festival.
In Delhi, Saraswati Puja will be observed at various locations, including Kali Bari, Sonia Vihar Saraswati Puja Pandal, and Dwarka Sector 22, reflecting the widespread celebration of the auspicious occasion.
