Tripura CM Manik Saha Explores Investment Opportunities with Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani

Mumbai: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha met Reliance Industries Chairman and MD Mukesh Ambani, along with his son Anant Ambani, to discuss potential investment opportunities in the northeastern state.

The meeting focused on leveraging Tripura’s abundant natural resources to accelerate the region’s socioeconomic development.

During the discussion, CM Saha emphasized Tripura’s untapped potential and invited the Ambanis to contribute to the state’s growth story. “Tripura is rich in natural resources that can be harnessed for the socioeconomic upliftment of the region,” he said.

In a social media post, the chief minister shared details of the meeting, expressing optimism about future collaborations. “Met Chairman & MD Reliance Industries Mukesh Ambani ji and Anant Ambani ji in Mumbai on Thursday,” CM Saha wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

The chief minister’s Mumbai visit coincided with his attendance at the oath-taking ceremony of Devendra Fadnavis as Maharashtra’s Chief Minister. CM Saha lauded the development, calling it a “historic moment” and expressing confidence in rapid growth for Maharashtra under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.

This meeting highlights the growing interest in fostering public-private partnerships to boost development in northeastern states, aligning with the central government’s focus on regional connectivity and economic inclusion.
