Tripura CM Manik Saha Hails BJP’s Victory in Delhi, Calls It ‘Expected Result’

Agartala– Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha has hailed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s landslide victory in the Delhi Assembly elections, stating that the outcome was anticipated given the corruption allegations against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in the national capital.

Reacting to the results, which saw the BJP reclaim power in Delhi after over 26 years, Saha credited the triumph to the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He expressed gratitude to the people of Delhi for what he described as a historic mandate that reflects the nation’s trust in BJP’s governance.

“The result was expected. The people of India have witnessed how our country is progressing under the relentless efforts of Prime Minister Modi. His commitment to the welfare of the poor and his focus on national development have resonated with the people. This election result is proof that the citizens have rejected corruption and chosen good governance,” Saha remarked.

Taking a swipe at AAP, he added, “The people of Delhi have observed the AAP government for years and seen the deep-rooted corruption they were involved in. This victory is a message that the country will not tolerate misgovernance.”

Saha also emphasized that the BJP’s return to power in Delhi marks a significant political shift, stating, After a long time, the BJP is set to govern Delhi again, and for this, I wholeheartedly thank the people of Delhi and our esteemed Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This victory has been made possible because of his leadership.”

With the BJP sweeping the elections in the national capital, party leaders and supporters across the country have erupted in celebrations, seeing the win as a testament to public faith in Modi’s leadership and a setback for AAP’s governance model.
