Guwahati: Chief Minister of Tripura Dr Manik Saha had a positive Covid-19 test on Wednesday.
On social media, CM Saha shared his health status and advised followers to act in accordance with the Covid code of conduct.
Saha also asked his connections to take the appropriate safety measures.
“I’ve been tested Covid-19 positive today. I am absolutely fit & fine with no symptoms. I humbly request all those who’ve come in contact with me to take necessary precautions”, he wrote.

Many of his cabinet members, including former CM Biplab Kumar Deb, prayed for his quick recovery.
It should be noted that Tripura experienced up to 477 new instances of Covid on Wednesday.
