Tripura CM Voices Strong Backing for Armed Forces Following Retaliatory Action
Guwahati, Assam – Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha today articulated his steadfast support for the Indian Armed Forces, emphasizing the nation’s history of enduring numerous terrorist attacks and asserting that a resolute response is now imperative.
Dr. Saha’s remarks came in the wake of Operation Sindoor, a decisive action undertaken following the brutal killing of 26 individuals in Pahalgam by terrorists originating from Pakistan.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made it clear that no one involved will be spared, and India will not remain silent until terrorism is eradicated,” Dr. Saha stated. “After much deliberation, we witnessed an operation launched in the early hours. Initial reports indicate no civilian casualties, with terrorist and training camps destroyed and several terrorists neutralized. Prime Minister Modi’s words are always followed by action.”
The Chief Minister affirmed the unwavering solidarity of the people with the Prime Minister and conveyed that the entire state of Tripura stands firmly behind the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, and Indian Navy.
“A mock drill is scheduled for today, the details of which have been clarified by the Central government,” Dr. Saha further noted. “India has been a repeated target of terrorist attacks, and the time to deliver a strong message has arrived. Our Armed Forces have effectively taught them a lesson.”
