Tripura COVID Recovery rate increases to 80.25%
The Tripura Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath on Tuesday addressed a press conference in a hall of Agartala General Assembly on the current issue of Covid-19 in the state. He said that the total number of people infected with the corona virus in the state of Tripura now stands at 1,386. At present there are 259 Covid-19 active cases in the state. 1088 people have already been recovered from the virus. Out of which 259 people, 13 are from Agartala GB Hospital, 52 are from Covid Care Center at Hapania International Fair premises, 25 are from PRTI in Gomti district Udaipur, Ambasa Polytechnic. 39 patients are at Institution Hostel, 42 at BSF Covid Care Hospital, 1 at Agartala Badharghat Sports School Boys Hostel, 29 at Lalsingmura Primary Health Center, 45 at Devdaru Primary Health Center and 13 at Kumarghat PRTI.
The education minister further said that a total of 458 people came to the state through Churaibari on Monday. Of these 221 are lorry drivers, 20 are patients, and 217 are out-of-state detainees. The education minister further said that the recovery rate of patients infected with corona virus in the state is 80.25 percent. The state of Tripura is in the second place in the whole country in terms of recovery rate.
