Tripura CPIM staged silent protest

A silent protest program was organized by the CPIM Teliamura Sub-Divisional Committee with the aim of realizing the 6-point demand. The left party demanded that those family who don’t give income tax should be provided 10 kg of food grains per month, they also urged the Government not to rise the prices of petrol & diesel more and asked the Government to give 200 rupees as compensation to the daily labourers for the ongoing pandemic.

CPIM sub-divisional committee secretary Hemant Kumar Jamatia, editorial board member Ajay Ghosh, Gayatri Dutta region secretary Subir Sen and many others were present at today’s protest. At 11 a.m. today, Left Front activists and supporters lined up on the side of the national highway in front of the Teliamura CPIM sub-divisional office to hold a silent protest.

At the end of the program, Ajay Ghosh, a member of the editorial board, told the media that the program is aimed at fulfilling the demands of the people by keeping the people in mind at the time of the current Corona virus crisis. Ajay Ghosh warns to build bigger and bigger movement during the day.
