Tripura Government Announces 333-Post Recruitment Drive Across Multiple Departments
Agartala: The Tripura government has unveiled a major recruitment drive, creating 333 new positions across various departments to strengthen its administrative and service sectors. The announcement was made on Monday, February 24, by Cabinet Spokesperson and Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury.
The Forest Department is set to recruit 104 Forest Guards through a specialized board examination, while the Finance Department’s treasury division will fill 140 Auditor positions to tackle staffing shortages. “The number of auditors at present is very low, so we have taken this decision, and recruitment will be done soon,” Chowdhury stated.
The Cooperative Department will add 30 positions, including Auditors, Investigators, and Statistical Investigators, while the Social Welfare Department will hire 34 ICDS Supervisors via the Service Commission.
In the health sector, 20 new posts will be created at the Regional Geriatric Centre of AGMC & GBP Hospital, along with two Bio-Medical Engineer positions. The Tourism Department will recruit three Group-D staff through direct recruitment and promote two employees to Upper Division Clerk roles. Additionally, the Directorate of Biotechnology will add one Scientific Assistant to its workforce.
The recruitment drive covers a wide range of job categories, including Group-C non-gazetted and Group-A gazetted positions, marking a significant expansion in the state’s administrative workforce.
