Tripura Government Plans Release of Over 10,000 Job Opportunities Post Panchayat Elections

Northeast Desk, 8th July: Tripura’s Chief Minister, Prof. Dr. Manik Saha, has announced ambitious plans to release over 10,000 job opportunities following the conclusion of the Panchayat elections. This initiative aims to significantly boost employment prospects within the state, underscoring the Chief Minister’s commitment to youth welfare and development.

The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) highlighted Saha’s proactive approach to enhancing job availability since assuming office. “Chief Minister Saha has prioritized job creation, leading to the issuance of 13,661 job offers from 2018 to 2024,” stated a CMO official.

The breakdown of job offers by year and category is as follows:

  • Group A: 99 (2018-19), 4 (2019-20), 40 (2020-21), 223 (2021-22), 147 (2022-23), 28 (2023-24)
  • Group B: 1 (2018-19), 3 (2019-20), 4 (2020-21), 16 (2021-22), 77 (2022-23), 7 (2023-24)
  • Group C: 986 (2018-19), 965 (2019-20), 629 (2020-21), 2,699 (2021-22), 5,044 (2022-23), 1,966 (2023-24)
  • Group D: 100 (2018-19), 174 (2019-20), 121 (2020-21), 134 (2021-22), 116 (2022-23), 78 (2023-24)

Furthermore, the Chief Minister has directed officials to expedite the release of pending job offers, which include positions in Tripura Police, Group D under the Joint Recruitment Board Tripura, Special Executives, and others. An official from the CMO affirmed, “Chief Minister Saha has instructed us to release these pending offers promptly after the Panchayat elections.”

The initiative is poised to meet the employment needs of Tripura’s youth and contribute positively to the state’s overall development agenda.
