Tripura Government Underscores Commitment to Harmony Between Tribal and Non-Tribal Communities
Agartala: The Tripura government is placing paramount importance on fostering a climate of peaceful coexistence between individuals from both tribal and non-tribal backgrounds, Chief Minister Manik Saha affirmed today.
Speaking to the news agency ANI, Chief Minister Saha stated unequivocally, “People have faith in the current government. One of the fundamental objectives of this administration is to guarantee the comprehensive well-being of every segment of society.”
Chief Minister Saha’s remarks came after his participation in the Ram Navami Utsav held at the Sri Saibaba Temple situated in Baisnab Tilla, near the Amtali Police Station in Agartala earlier today.
“We will stand united,” Chief Minister Saha asserted. “The state’s progress will be achieved through the harmonious living of people from all castes and tribal communities. Should any issues arise, we are committed to resolving them through dialogue. We have successfully addressed numerous matters through discussions. This commitment is not merely verbal; it is reflected in our actions. When a problem emerges, our priority is to find a swift resolution. The people trust us, and it is upon this trust that we diligently work to address any concern. Our efforts are dedicated to the welfare of all citizens across all aspects.”
The Chief Minister also highlighted the deep-rooted religious sentiments prevalent among the people of Tripura.
“Particularly, mothers and sisters hold an unwavering belief in religion. And because of their faith, we too are believers. Those who do not believe are atheists. When we visit places of worship, we experience a unique sense of peace. Our government’s aim is to bring happiness to the faces of all our people,” he further added.
Separately, on Sunday, Chief Minister Saha reiterated the government’s dedication to recognizing and valuing the contributions of individuals who have significantly enhanced the state’s prestige through their remarkable achievements, stressing the necessity of ensuring their legacies endure.
“Bipul Kanti Saha is the pioneer of modern sculpture in our state. He is among the exceptionally talented individuals in Tripura. His relentless hard work and dedication have led to the appreciation of the art of sculpture from our state on a global scale. Such personalities can never be forgotten. They will serve as an inspiration for future generations to progress,” Chief Minister Saha emphasized.
