Tripura Hotels Boycott Bangladeshi Visitors Over Religious Persecution

Agartala, India: In a strong protest against the alleged religious persecution of Hindus in Bangladesh, the All Tripura Hotel and Restaurant Owners Association has announced a complete boycott of Bangladeshi citizens seeking hotel services.

The decision comes in the wake of recent incidents in Bangladesh, including the desecration of the Indian national flag and the arrest of ISKCON member Chinmoy Krishna Das Prabhu. The association expressed deep concern over the escalating violence and discrimination against the Hindu minority in the neighboring country.

“India is a secular nation that respects all religions,” the association stated in a press release. “However, the recent attacks on the Hindu community in Bangladesh are unacceptable. We cannot stand idly by while our fellow Hindus suffer.”

The association emphasized that the boycott is not directed against the general public of Bangladesh but against the extremist elements responsible for the violence. They hope that this action will send a strong message to the Bangladeshi government to take immediate steps to protect the rights of religious minorities.
